 NEW ORLEANS: February 2 - 6
A team from NEHBC traveled to New Orleans during the Mardi Gras festivities. Each afternoon and late evening they worked to pass out tracts, share the Gospel message, and prayer walk with tourists and locals on the streets of the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. During the 4 days they were there they saw several people give their lives to Jesus Christ and were able to share the Gospel many times. They were also able to pass out 5000 tracts and many Bibles. God did amazing things as lives were changed and the Gospel message was spread among the hundreds of thousands that decended upon New Orleans.
ESTONIA: May 24 – May 31 Cost of Trip: $1,370/person**
Pastor Nathan is leading this trip whose purpose is mass literature distribution. This will be NEHBC’s third trip to Estonia to work with our very own church members and IMB missionaries, Tom and Jennifer Thompson. The team will distribute thousands of Bibles, Gospel tracts, and fliers inviting Estonians to Bible Studies taught by Tom Thompson. Participants are welcome to arrive early or stay late to tour this beautiful and historic country that has easy access to surrounding countries such as Finland and Latvia, but all participants are required to participate in the evangelism efforts for the dates listed above. SE TEXAS: March 15 – March 18 Cost of trip: $200/person**
NEHBC will team up with Faith Family Baptist Church again for this Hurricane Rita disaster relief trip. This will be NEHBC’s second trip to assist Hurricane Rita victims. The team will do a variety of house repairs which could include demolition, drywall work, painting, framing, etc. Participants do not have to be experienced workers with their hands as each job site has a job foreman who will provide direction and assistance. This trip leaves NEHBC on a Saturday and returns to NEHBC on the following Tuesday evening. For more information: nlino@nehbc.com
ARKANSAS: June 15 - 21 Cost of Trip: $515**
This is our teenagers’ annual Summer mission trip. Our teens went to Mexico in 2005 and 2006, and 2007 found them in Benton, Tennessee. This will be NEHBC’s first mission trip to Arkansas. Teenagers must complete the qualification process to participate in this challenging trip that always results in dynamic spiritual growth in the life of the teenagers who participate. There are positions for chaperones on this trip that provide superb ministry opportunities for NEHBC adults. THAILAND: September 19 – September 26 Cost of Trip: $2,030/person**

Pastor Sonny is leading this trip whose purpose is mass literature distribution to Chinese vacationers in Thailand. This trip is part of a large project by our IMB called, Southern Cross. Southern Cross is designed as follows. China is closed to the Gospel and persecutes anyone spreading the Gospel within her borders. The beaches of Thailand are a very popular vacation destination for the Chinese. The IMB therefore maintains a massive, ongoing effort every Summer to evangelize the many Chinese who are spending their holiday at the Thailand beaches. IMB personnel in Thailand organize the efforts and Southern Baptist churches from America take teams to distribute thousands of Chinese Bibles and Gospel tracts to these vacationers. VIRGINIA: July 18 – July 23 Cost of Trip: $850/person**
Pastor Sonny is leading this trip whose purpose is distribution of fliers and Gospel tracts as well as one-on-one sharing of the Gospel. NEHBC will team with Newmarket Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia, to spend five days reaching their community for Jesus Christ. Participants on this Summer trip to the eastern seaboard will know what it is to be on both the giving and receiving end of life change. **Cost of trips include transportation to and from location; meals; accomodations; transportation on location. Cost does not include the passport costs. Cost assumes double occupancy of hotel rooms. If you don't sign up with someone for a trip and you don't want to pay for an entire room, you will be assigned a roommate.
