Are you looking for direction in life?  We believe the Bible provides sufficient counsel for every situation we face in life and is completely trustworthy and accurate.  We believe the Bible is the only tangible source of objective truth available to mankind.  As a result we only offer biblical counseling.

To receive counseling through the Center for Biblical Counseling, the counselee must begin regularly attending both Sunday morning and Wednesday night worship services at NEHBC.  The Center for Biblical Counseling is open to both church members and the community and is free of charge.

Premarital Counseling

The completion of the premarital counseling program is a prerequisite for an NEHBC pastor to marry you; however, this program is also available to those not being married by an NEHBC pastor.  The premarital counseling program covers such topics as biblical foundations for marriage, finances and budgeting, sex, extended family, communication, and family devotions.

Marital Counseling

At various times we can find our marriages strained and sometimes even broken.  Biblical counselors are available to meet with you and your spouse if you are willing to submit to God's Word for direction and guidance.

Crisis Counseling

Crisis situations are a reality of life.  Regardless of when, where, or how we encounter them, God's Word is sufficient to address each situation.

Life Counseling

We believe the Bible provides sufficient counsel for every situation that we face in life.  Regardless of the season we personally find ourselves in, God desires to address how best to live and respond to life's circumstances.  Our biblical guides will confidentially evaluate your situation and direct you to God's solutions.

What is the procedure for setting up a counseling appointment?

We have a small packet that is available in the office to be filled out prior to setting up a counseling appointment.  These forms better explain the CBC and provide necessary information to determine who best to biblically guide you through this time.  To obtain the forms, contact cbc@nehbc.com or download them below and email them back to the church office.  Once the forms are completed and returned to the church office, an appointment with the next available biblical guide will be made.
