The NEHBC Music Ministry is focused on creating opportunities for our congregation to worship God in spirit and in truth.  The worship team consists of instrumentalists, vocalists (praise team and chorus) and technical support personnel all working together effectively in order to provide an environment for believers in Christ to worship Him fully.  The team leads worship at the 9:00 am and 10:30 am services on Sunday and on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm.  Rehearsal times are 8:00 am on Sunday mornings and 8:00 pm on Wednesday nights.  All positions require auditions and/or interviews.

CURRENT NEEDS

Lead Guitar

An experienced lead guitar player who can also read lead sheets and/or sheet music is needed. Must be comfortable playing in a band environment.  This role requires soloing, improvisation and the ability to take off parts from audio recordings. 

Percussion

An experienced percussionist who can tastefully add rhythms and sounds to enhance the overall musical presentation.  Experience playing with bands is strongly preferred.  The ability to demonstrate an understanding of dynamics, music styles, balance and tempo is a requirement.  Some formal band/music training preferred.  Current gear includes congos, bongos, djembe, wind chimes, shakers, tambourine.

Chorus Singers

Vocalists are needed for the worship chorus.  Previous singing experience and training a plus.  Must have the ability to learn and sing parts.
