BAPTISM
According to Matthew 28:18-20, the two identifying marks of a follower of Jesus Christ are New Testament baptism and placing oneself under biblical teaching. Therefore, soon after surrendering one's life to Christ, one should be baptized. Children, teens and adults can all participate in this symbolic, yet mandatory act of the Christian faith. (Baptisms that took place at another church of like faith and practice will be recognized at NEHBC.)
